Description

Keys of Hope Consultants, LLC is excited to host our 1st Annual Sanity in the Sanctuary Conference at Temple Oheb Shalom located at 7310 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore, MD 21208 from 8:30a.m.-3:00p.m. The conference is a full day event and the theme this year is Integrating Faith and Mental Health. Our goal is to raise awareness about mental health and it’s prevalence in the faith-based community. The conference will address the important role of the church in supporting people with mental health challenges and offer practical solutions that can be implemented to support those who seek help from the church or other faith-based community resources. This conference is for pastors, clergy members, ministry leaders, parents, lay members who are Believers and serve others in some capacity. All denominations are welcome!

This year, our Keynote speaker is Pastor and Author, Anthony Scott Rowson of Kingdom Nation Church and Ministries and author of Dying to Live. Pastor Rowson will provide information and share his journey and struggles with his mental health.

We also have two dynamic workshop facilitators, Christopher Massey, CEO of I am Strength, Inc. who will be sharing with attendees that importance of self-care on mental health. Lashonda Godwin is a social worker who will be educating attendees on common mental health diagnosis and dispelling myths related to mental illness.

You absolutely do no want to miss the open panel! Our guest panelist, Minister Kim Williams, Minister Dominic Mitchell, Dr. Corey Henderson and Tierra Sydnor-Diggs, LMSW will continue the discussion of the prevalence of mental health in the faith based community, share personal experiences, and provide resources and helpful tools that will make attendees more equipped to support.

By attending this conference we are confident that you will leave feeling more equipped to support people with mental health challenges. We are hopeful that this conference will also provide you with the tools to sustain your own mental health.
